Autumn Concert - Solihull Symphony Orchestra

Featuring works by Beethoven, Greig and Sejourne.

The Autumn concert by the talented musicians from Solihull Symphony Orchestra is taking place at Shirley Methodist Church, 257 Stratford Road, Shirley.  The performance lasts about two hours with an interval half way through.

Admission for children is free when accompanied by an adult - other concessions are available.

Tickets will also be available to buy on the door, subject to availability.

This concert will feature the Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite, Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony and a concerto for vibraphone by the contemporary French composer, Emmanuel Séjourné. Joining us on vibraphone will be Jason Huxtable, who lives locally and teaches percussion at Birmingham Conservatoire. Jason and his ensemble Maraca2 have performed around the world, most recently with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Gustavo Dudamel – don’t miss the opportunity of seeing an amazing performance closer to home!
