This 7-week course will take place on alternate Wednesdays with Local Studies Librarian Tracey Williams. Fortnightly from 18th Sept to 11th December - Tracey will confirm dates on the first sesson with all participants.
This intermediate course will help if you have traced your family back to at least the early 1800s in England or Wales. We'll look at workhouses and poverty, military records, migration, crime, land and property ownerships... and what to do when the records run out or you hit a brick wall in your research.
