Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Ticket on sale on the gate priced £13 full adult, £12 conc. £8 child.

Hoorah! Heartbreak Productions is pleased to announce that the Prince Regent is coming to visit. You are hereby required to attend an etiquette lesson hosted by The Association of Higher Etiquette and Manners (A.H.E.M.), who will educate you in the politesse of high society.

Join Heartbreak, the Bennet sisters, and a host of charming, young bachelors (yes, Mr Darcy will be there. No, really, yes, that Mr Darcy), for an evening of comedy, romance, and more than one come-uppance, as we learn how to behave, ahem, properly.

Champagne and cucumber sandwiches are permitted at this outdoor adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, but do ensure you know how to properly use a napkin, remember to chew with your mouths closed, and please, try not to fall in love with Mr Darcy, as we believe he is very soon to be engaged.

Heartbreak Productions specialise in high quality outdoor theatre in unusual spaces such as shopping centres, castles, stately homes and parks.

Jane Austen's classic and much loved tale is given the 'Heartbreak' treatment and performed in a fresh and interesting way in the lakeside setting of Brueton Park, Solihull, just as the sun is setting.

Bring friends, picnic, your own seat or blanket and enjoy this talented cast performing a fanastic literary work.  We normally book at least one Shakespeare show, but this year decided to book Pride and Prejudice and don't think regular audiences will be disappointed.

Tickets are cheaper when bought in advance and the first 336 tickets sold are guaranteed a seat in our extreme wet weather venue, back in the theatre.  Tickets to the Arena are limited to 450 to ensure that everyone can see and hear adequately as well as have room to picnic.  The show is aimed at adults but children aged around 10+ are welcome.  There are two other performances in Brueton Park in 2018 - Please see The Midnight Gang, by David Walliams (close to sell out).

Early booking is recommended for these outdoor shows as they do tend to sell out.  When planning to buy on the gate, please check availability before just turning up.  Gate prices - when tickets are on sale will cost £13, £12 concession, £8 child.  If tickets are purchased ONLINE (up to 4pm on day of the show) they will be printed and taken to the park for collection at the gate.

Toilets are available in nearby Parkrdige Nature centre when open + one portable toilet on site. There is some parking at Old Warwick Road entrance - not guaranteed, please following ticketing instructions onsite.

THERE IS NO SEATING PROVIDED.
