The Core Theatre and Solihull MBC have taken the decision to cancel all Theatre shows until the end of the year, and are in the process of contacting ticketholders. We are reviewing the pantomime and a final decision on whether this will take place will be made in September.

This will also depend on government guidance and timelines to be issued this month.

The current situation is that we have now re-introduced a Monday to Friday Box office service between 9.30am and 3pm. This service will be telephone only and the Box Office counter remains closed. Staff are continuing to contact customers regarding cancelled shows, re-scheduled performances and refunds. There is also a full 2021 programme which you are able to book for, which is outlined in the What’s On section of the website.

ENCORE cafe bar is currently closed.  We are working towards expanding our services in September, including the re-opening of the Cafe Bar (with a reduced menu). The date is not yet confirmed but will be shown below when known.

The Core Library is currently operating a click and collect service. Please see the Library website for details https://www.solihull.gov.uk/libraries

Future plans

We are working towards an expanded opening of the Core in September and this will include re-opening the Encore Café and a re-introduction of our classes and courses programme.
