Something for everyone at Artrix!
Thursday 9 November saw the first performance in over three years at Artrix in Bromsgrove, as America’s Got Talent winner Paul Zerdin took to the stage in front of almost 300 delighted audience members. There’s an exciting programme of shows to look forward to at Artrix over the next few months, with something for everyone!
Jack and the Beanstalk Pantomime Adventure runs from 15 December to 7 January and promises to be spectacular fun for all the family! The award-winning Little Wolf Entertainment present the biggest panto of them all, with marvellous moo-sic, cow-ntless costumes, GIANT jokes and an udderly ridiculous Dame! Audiences can also join us for our specially adapted Relaxed Performance of Jack and the Beanstalk on Thursday 21 December, ideal for those who would benefit from a more relaxed environment.
The fun continues into 2024 as Barry Steele presents the Roy Orbison Story (23-24 January) - an extraordinary ensemble of talented musicians and singer pay homage to the timeless music of Roy Orbison, The Traveling Wilburys, and his many friends. On 26 January Artrix welcomes The Simon and Garfunkel Story, following a weeklong run in London’s West End at the Vaudeville Theatre, and a sold-out worldwide tour with standing ovations at every performance.
More uplifting music will help you shake off the February blues, with One Night in Dublin, the ultimate feel-good Irish music tribute show, on 3 February, swiftly followed by The Legends of American Country Show on 5 February, a fantastic night of toe-tapping country nostalgia.
Join the fab four on a musical journey from the Cavern Club to Abbey Road as The Upbeat Beatles make audiences twist and shout on 8 February! Then, on 9 February Artrix plays host to Shape of You – The Music of Ed Sheeran, an authentic tribute to one of the world’s greatest singer songwriters. 10 February sees Dire Streets take to the stage, fronted by finger picking guitar ace John Brunsdon and his band of accomplished musicians.
With a two hour 60s spectacular of pure nostalgia, Step Inside the 60s on 15 February will transport you back to that magical decade. On 16 February Artrix welcomes comedian Geoff Norcott, star of Have I Got News For You, The Last Leg, Live At The Apollo, 8 Out of Ten Cats and much more!
