Charlie Bucket is a kind, imaginative young boy who lives in poverty with his loving family. When the mysterious and reclusive chocolate maker Willy Wonka announces a contest to find five lucky children to tour his magical factory, Charlie’s dreams seem out of reach. But when he miraculously finds a golden ticket, his life changes forever. 

Charlie embarks on an unforgettable journey alongside four other ticket winners – each with their own larger-than-life personality. Inside the factory, they encounter edible landscapes, nut-sorting squirrels, and the unforgettable Oompa-Loompas, all under the watchful eye of the eccentric and unpredictable Mr. Wonka. 

As the tour unfolds, the other children fall victim to their own bad behaviour - gluttony, greed, pride, and more - leaving only Charlie to prove that honesty and kindness are the true keys to success. With dazzling stagecraft, beloved characters, and toe-tapping songs including “Pure Imagination”, “The Candy Man”, and “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket”, this is a theatrical spectacle bursting with colour, creativity, and joy.
