This course will help if you’ve had a break from research and want some motivation to get going again. The taught sessions will take place fortnightly so that you have chance in between lessons to do your own research. The fourth of the weeks will be a study week with tutor support. Topics covered will include: effective searching of Ancestry, Find My Past and other websites; census substitutes; military records; reading old handwriting; and strategies for breaking down brick walls.
There are only 12 spaces available on the course, so early booking is recommended.
