Join Solihull Symphony Orchestra for an afternoon of music from the movies, including favourites such as Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Forest Gump and James Bond. There are also a few bits of classical music that have featured in films – Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony (The King’s Speech), Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyrie (Apocalypse Now) and Saint-Saens Dance Macabre (used in many films).
This concert is held at Shirley Methodist Church, 257 Stratford Road, B90 3AL.
Bring the children – there’s no charge if they’re under 16 and accompanied by an adult.
The concert will be conducted by Music Director Jon Malaxetxebarria
