In 1963 Roy Orbison performed for the first time, at The Adelphi in Slough - in December 2018 The Roy Orbison Story performed at The Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End. In 1988 Roy Orbison joined ‘The Traveling Wilburys’- in The Roy Orbison Story creates an incredible finale to the show as the whole cast comes together to celebrate the Traveling Wilburys.
In 2017 Roy Orbison classics were remastered by The Philharmonic orchestra! – The Roy Orbison Story proudly present their versions of these masterpieces. Roy Orbison worked with George Harrison- in The Roy Orbison Story ‘Something’ is really ‘Something,’ and ‘You got it’ will have you thinking ‘they’ve got it.’
Chris Isaak collected many awards on behalf of The Orbison Family – he also recorded many of Roy Orbison’s songs – in The Roy Orbison Story the compliment is returned with stunning versions of Blue Hotel and Wicked Game. Roy Orbison dueted with KD Lang…the production turns it upside down and presents ‘Till the heart caves in’, which was composed by The Big O’ and recorded by KD Lang.
