Swap PlayStations and iPads for Holiday Art Club this summer! Let children explore, enjoy and express themselves through colour, line and shape: they will develop visual vocabulary and emotional intelligence AND have fun!

‘Tropical Tuesdays’ – Splash out with colour and create wild and wonderful art inspired by all things tropical! Different ideas and approaches  every week!

Join Art at the Heart for some creative fun during school holidays in these three hour sessions in the Courtyard Gallery at The Core.  Tropical Tuesdays are creative and fun and aimed at children aged 6+.

The first will be held in Whitsun half term holiday on Tuesday 28th May and once the Tuesday morning session is full, a second class will be opened for sale on Tuesday afternoon.  There will also be a Wiry Workshop session on Thurs 30th at 9.30am,  a second class will be opened at 1.30pm when the morning is sold.

'Tropical Tuesdays' Art Club sessions continue during the summer holidays on 23rd and 30th July plus 13th August.  A special 'Wiry Workshop' takes place on Weds 7th August.

During the Summer holidays there's also Family Art Club  on Tuesday on 23rd, 30th July plus 13th August and Weds 7th August (age 4+ and their parent/guardian) and also ArtLab on Thursdays 25th July plus 1st, 8th & 15th August.   ArtLab is aimed at young people aged 11+ These have separate webpages.  Please don't hesitate to contact Box Office for full details of times, ages and availability of all art classes.

Art sessions can be messy so please wear old clothes or bring an old shirt.  All materials are included in the price.

Tickets cost £18 for all sessions.
