We've all been on the receiving end. But what is life like at the other end of the syringe?
JABS is played largely for affectionate laughs ... with moments of poignancy, a smattering of new songs and a touch of audience participation (because we all know what we have to do!) It’s also a love letter to the NHS.
Sally Tongue plays herself, an actress and performer who having lost her income to Covid trained to become a vaccinator ... whilst actors Christina Cubbin and Paul Wilkinson portray an assortment of 16 characters who appear in her pod for a few minutes each.
The play is scripted and directed by Chris Eldon Lee (BBC Radio Four producer and founder member of the veteran comedy group 'Three Men In A Bowtie').
