Shake off the January blues and enjoy some great entertainment at The Core Theatre this month!

Becoming Victoria Wood comes to the big screen at the Core Theatre on 14 and 15 January. Told in her own words and through the voices of those who knew her best, this film uncovers the formative experiences and personal battles that powered Victoria’s unmatched ability to make the nation laugh.

The Core’s Hong Kong Cinema programme continues with Band Four on 15 January (in Cantonese with English subtitles).

On 16 January Richard Blackwood: Unfiltered delivers sharp, fearless comedy with raw honesty - tackling fatherhood, fame, race, ageing and mental health.

Britain's original and longest running tribute to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr, The Rat Pack: Las Vegas Live! brings the style and excitement of the Las Vegas heyday to The Core Theatre on 17 January.

Join the Kellerman's crew for a unique showing of the 80s classic movie, ‘Dirty Dancing’, served alongside a themed tasting of five different wines. Dirty Dancing with Wine is at The Core Theatre on 18 January.

On 21 January don’t miss Black Ball 40th Anniversary with snooker greats Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor as they recreate the legendary 1985 World Championship Final, with host & referee John Virgo.

On 25 January Wired for Sound is an evening of fabulous nostalgia returning to the early days of pop, including all Cliff Richard’s hits of that unforgettable era.

NT Live: The Fifth Step on 28 January is a National Theatre Live screening of the critically acclaimed play filmed live from the West End, featuring Olivier Award-winner Jack Lowden (Slow Horses, Dunkirk) and Emmy and BAFTA-winner Martin Freeman (The Hobbit, The Responder).

If you love rock 'n' roll and the legendary artists who shaped the genre, then The Class of '55 is a must-see show on 29 January!  Featuring the music of Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis.

On 30 and 31 January, The Neil Diamond Story covers Neil Diamond's journey from struggling songwriter to international mega-star, with hits from every stage of a staggering career spanning five decades.

Monthly comedy club, Funny to the Core brings the best and funniest UK comedy talent to Solihull, with headliner Scott Bennett on 30 January.
