
There’s something for everyone this March at The Core Theatre. From show-stopping live music and side-splitting comedy to breathtaking dance, captivating film, and mind-blowing magic – it’s a programme bursting with unmissable entertainment!
Kicking off a busy month on 2 March is Ireland The Show, featuring an all-star Irish cast of award-winning performers. Then on 4 March you can see the best of the West End on the big screen with NT Live: Hamlet.
Enjoy all your favourite Spice Girls hits on 5 March with Spice Girls: The Theatre Show. There’s more girl-powered music on 6 March with Women in Rock, featuring hits by Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Alanis Morissette and more. Also 6 March in the Studio is Essentially Cher, with singer Trisha McCluney paying tribute to the Goddess of Pop!
Join us for a night of sixties nostalgia and the music of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and more on 7 March with The Counterfeit Sixties Show. On 8 March Totally Tina is a breathtaking recreation of a live Tina Turner concert.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, on 9 March is a screening of Erin Brockovich, starring Julia Roberts. 10 March sees The Dublin Legends (pictured above) take to the stage, playing classics including ‘Whiskey in the Jar’, ‘Molly Malone’, ‘The Irish Rover’ and more!
There are more National Theatre Live screenings on 11 and 23 March with NT Live: The Audience, starring Helen Mirren. Then on 12 March The Core’s Hong Kong Cinema season continues with Where the Wind Blows. Also on 12 March, Barry Manilow fans will love Celebrating Barry: The Ultimate Manilow Show.
Join Declan Nerney Live in Concert on 13 March with his band for a nostalgic night of music, song and laughter. On 14 March Taylor Fever comes to Solihull – the ultimate tribute to global icon Taylor Swift!
On 17-21 March Knowle Musical Society present the timeless musical comedy Me and My Girl.
Celebrating the 250th anniversary of their births, unmissable documentary Exhibition on Screen: Turner and Constable on 23 March explores the legacies of these two great British artists.
On 24 March experience the vibrant fusion of cultures in UBUNTU, a spellbinding dance performance by the award-winning Tribhangi Dance Theatre.
There’s hilarious comedy on 25 March with Geoff Norcott Basic Bloke 2: There’s no Bloke without Fire. Then on 26 March two of Britain's most beloved entertainers unite for an exceptional show, in Anita Harris and Freddie Davies: A Lifetime of Memories.
On 27 March Celebrating Celine is the ultimate live concert experience honouring the legendary music of Celine Dion. There’s also more comedy in the Studio as monthly comedy club Funny to The Core is headlined by Rachel Fairburn.
Prepare to be amazed by master illusionist Richard Jones: The Sound of Magic on 28 March.
The month ends with dazzling entertainment from across the globe, as 29 March sees Bollywood Time Machine present the best of Bollywood’s dance and music from the 60s to the present day, then on 31 March immerse yourself in the worldwide phenomenon that is K-Pop with all-action tribute concert K Pop Forever!
