posted 30 Oct 2026

The nights may be drawing in, but there’s plenty to brighten up your November at The Core. From live music and musical theatre to festive favourites, film and a very special wine tasting, take a look at what’s coming up and plan your next great night out.

North Solihull Singers: 20th Anniversary Celebration Concert on 1 November celebrates 20 years of music, friendship and community. A 40+ strong choir and live band will take audiences on a journey through two decades of pop, musicals, gospel, choral favourites and more.

On 2 and 3 November, A Christmas Carol - Revision on Tour sees Dickens Theatre Company bring their acclaimed adaptation of the festive classic to The Core, as Charles Dickens and his faithful tour manager attempt to portray Scrooge and more than 30 other characters. Perfect for students and lovers of literature alike!

Music takes centre stage on 4 November with Billy Joel Tribute UK, a fantastic celebration of the Piano Man featuring hits and fan favourites from Billy Joel’s remarkable career.

There are two very different events to choose from on 6 November. Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists The D-Day Darlings take you on a nostalgic trip back to wartime Britain with a matinee show featuring beautiful harmonies and favourites, including We’ll Meet Again, White Cliffs of Dover and It’s a Long Way to Tipperary.

Alternatively, sink your teeth into a very different night at the movies with The Lost Boys With Wine. The iconic 80s vampire film is paired with a tasting of five Californian wines, served at carefully chosen moments throughout the evening, along with movie trivia and plenty of blood-sucking fun!

On 8 November, join Solihull’s very own vintage harmony trio for Remembrance Sunday Cream Tea with the Boogaloo Babes. Enjoy an uplifting afternoon featuring songs made famous by Dame Vera Lynn, The Andrews Sisters and Doris Day, accompanied by a cream tea and sandwiches.

From 10 to 14 November, it’s time to get ready, set and bake as St Augustine’s MTC whisk up a musical treat with The Great British Bake Off Musical. Packed with original songs, showstoppers, friendship, collapsed cakes and plenty of Bake Off spirit, it promises all the ingredients for a delicious night at the theatre.

On 16 November, NT Live: Golden Boy brings Josh O’Connor (The Crown, Challengers) to the screen in a powerful revival of Clifford Odets’ American classic. Filmed live from the Almeida Theatre, Golden Boy follows a gifted young violinist drawn into the brutal world of professional boxing, exploring ambition, identity and the price of success.

Finally, on 21 November, It Ends With Us comes to The Core as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Presented by Soroptimist International Solihull & District, the 2024 drama stars Blake Lively and is rated 15.
