9 to 5 The Musical

Sat 30 Apr 2022, The Core Theatre theatre & dance

Presented by Solihull On Stage

Dolly Parton’s smash-hit musical is the perfect way to reignite your passion for musical theatre this year!

With a rip-roaring score by the Queen of Country, 9 to 5 the Musical tells the story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era. Three workmates are pushed to boiling point by their sexist and egotistical boss, who is soon to get him comeuppance, in this thought-provoking and romantic tale. By concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable supervisor, will the ladies manage to reform their office - or will their plans unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit?

Inspired by the iconic 80's film, this hilarious production is about teaming up, standing up and taking care of business!

Originally produced on Broadway by Robert Greenblatt, April 2009

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Musical Theatre International (Europe)
