Alice in Lockdown

Alice in Lockdown

Live outdoors in Castle Bromwich

The Core Theatre in partnership with Castle Bromwich Hall Historic Gardens are delighted to be teaming up with Heartbreak Productions this summer, to bring you a socially-distanced outdoor performance of Alice in Lockdown on Friday 21 August & Saturday 22 August at Castle Bromwich Hall Historic Gardens. (PLEASE NOTE: This was previously wrongly shown as Thursday and Friday - the dates are not confirmed as Friday and Saturday and all ticketholders for Thursday have been notified).

Join Alice as she ventures through the Lockdown Looking Glass and explores a curious world filled with Cheshire Cats, White Rabbits and Red Queens, all while keeping a safe distance of 2 metres and using PPE to do her shopping. Whether battling Tweedle-dum and Tweedle-dee for the last loo roll or attending the Mad Hatter’s tea party via Zoom, Alice’s socially-distanced adventures are the perfect antidote to the stay-at-home blues.

So away with the quarantinis! Pack the picnic, pop the prosecco, and join Heartbreak Productions for this open-air performance of Alice In Lockdown.

The performance will start at 6pm. The running time is 2 hours including an interval, and the venue will be accessible from 5pm.

When arriving please maintain 2 metre distance if queuing to enter the venue and follow the instructions of stewards.

What Audiences Need To Know:

  • When booking tickets, the named booker is responsible for their party and will be the main contact for track and trace purposes and must give a contact number.
  • Each party will be assigned an 'audience island' from where they will watch the performance. The islands will be suitably spread to provide 2 metres social distancing.
  • Each party can be made up of either 2 households, or a max of 6 people from different households.
  • Entry is only by advanced ticket sales and the party booker should bring with them copy of email confirming their booking.  Please ensure all members of your group have read the details contained within the email regarding social distancing.
  • Audiences can bring their own refreshments. However, there will be takeaway tea & coffee, and an assortment of confectionery available to purchase onsite. We would like to remind audiences that you must be responsible for clearing up and disposing of your own rubbish.
  • Toilets and handwashing facilities are available onsite,
  • Car parking is also available at Castle Bromwich Hall Historic Gardens.

PLEASE NOTE If anyone due to attend is showing any symptoms of Covid 19, has been in contact with somebody with Covid-19, and/or has been told to self-isolate they should not attend.
