Regrettably due to the closure of The Core and the Courtyard Gallery within it, we are not yet sure if this exhibition will take place as planned and is therefore suspended.  Once we have more information about when the Covid-19 Regulations might allow us to reopen, we’ll contact the exhibition organisers and agree whether their dates will go ahead or be rescheduled.  We know the planning and hard work that goes into staging an exhibition and we look forward to displaying their work in our Gallery soon.

Vicki Gorman Art Classes present an exhibition showcasing the talents of the Artists who attend Vicki’s classes. The exhibition shows the different themes and mediums that are taught in the lessons, and the wonderful variety of individual styles of the artists.

Vicki teaches adult art classes at different venues including here at the Core. All abilities and ages are welcome. Vicki has 18 years of experience in teaching art to adults and the classes are informative, friendly and inspiring. They combine focussed projects where you can learn new techniques, and individual projects where you develop your own style. Vicki demonstrates techniques at the beginning of class and you can try them out yourself in your chosen medium. The lessons cover different media including watercolours, acrylics, chalk pastels etc. New classes are starting on Fridays at the Core in the spring 2020, as well as the ongoing classes.  If you are interested in joining then contact Vicki on 07940483320 or email vicki_kilgour@yahoo.co.uk.
