Outdoor fun in Brueton Park

Tonight's performance of Bad Dad will go ahead as planned in Brueton Park. Make sure you bring a blanket or chair to sit on, We advise that customers may also wish to bring along coats and umbrellas, in case of light rain showers. We will not stop the performance unless there is extremeley heavy rain, lightning or thunder.

Bad Dad by David Walliams, adapted for the outdoor stage by Heartbreak Productions.

Join Heartbreak Productions for this warm-hearted tale that follows the highs and lows of a father-son relationship. An open-air adaptation of David Walliams Bad Dad is the perfect summer family entertainment. So, pack your picnics, grab your wet weather gear something to sit on, and join Frank and Gilbert as they navigate their way through car chases and convicts in the struggle to escape the clutches of the local crime lord and clear Gilbert’s name.

Make sure you bring a blanket or chair to sit on, weather-appropriate gear, and a picnic, as the tale could take some time to tell, and storytelling can be hungry work

  • Tickets are limited to 450 to ensure everyone can see and hear the performers within the best possible area. The shows have previously sold out so please book early. There are toilets on site but no seating - audiences bring their own folding seat, blanket, waterproof coats, bin liners to sit on - whatever you wish appropriate to the weather.
  • Ticket buyers who buy ONLINE or OVER PHONE can collect from the gate of the Arena from 6pm on the day of the show.
  • No cycling or ball games in the Arena please - due to close proximity of others with food etc. The numbers are limited to 450 per show to ensure that everyone can hear and see well, which is why shows sell out quickly.  Tickets, where available, cost more when buying on the gate (£tbc)
  • The first 336 tickets purchased will be guaranteed a seat in the theatre in the event of extreme bad weather on the day.  This is due to very heavy rain, thunder, wind or waterlogged ground. Occasional short showers don't prevent the show going ahead and can be fun!  Keep your eye on the website as updates will be posted here on the day of the show.
