Barnhart & Huxley Hot Five - Jazz and Jokes IV

Jazz and Jokes IV back and better than ever!

Jazz and Jokes IV - hosted by Malc Stent but with the new start time of 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon, allowing a sublime afternoon of Jazz and Jokes and be home by teatime!

Barnhart-Huxley Hot 5 featuring Rico Tomasso, Jeff Barnhart-piano/vocals, George Huxley-reeds, Enrico Tomasso-trumpet/vocals, Anne Barnhart-flute/vocals, Graham Smith-drums

Thrill to the sounds of Vintage Jazz and Swing with this latest version the Barnhart-Huxley Hot Five, featuring the blistering trumpet and swinging vocals of London jazz legend Enrico Tomasso.  Rico and George Huxley will create the hottest combo since Louis Armstrong met Sidney Bechet!  Add flautist/vocalist Anne Barnhart for some sass and class, the ebullient Jeff Barnhart channeling Fats Waller as he strides across the keys, and Graham Smith, the most in-demand drummer in the Midlands, and you have an evening of jazz and hilarity (the latter provided by the venerable Malcolm Stent) to remember for ages to come!  For all ages and lovers of hot jazz and humour!

With host/compere Malcolm Stent lending his jokes, wry observations and perhaps a folk tune or two to the proceedings, you'll be assured of a memorable afternoon of music and mirth!

Join the gang for Jazz and Jokes IV for a fantastic evening of music and mirth.
