Sadly Peterbrook Players and The Core Theatre have made the decision that Barnum cannot now go ahead as planned in Spring 2021.

Government guidelines allow only 10 people backstage due to social distancing rules (in Tiers 1 & 2), so large shows can’t be staged. Similarly, Peterbrook members will be unable to begin rehearsing until all current social distancing rules are lifted.

Ticketholders are entitled to a refund - Call Box Office on 0121 704 6962 between 9.30am-2.30pm (Mon – Fri) with your card handy, as we don’t keep card details on file. If the line is busy, leave a message and we’ll call you back.

If you bought your tickets through the society, please email hello@peterbrookplayers.co.uk to organise a refund.

Peterbrook have incurred many expenses with Barnum so would love ticketholders to consider a donation, however small, to their Society to help – just let us know when you call us.

Their members, performers and audiences alike can then look forward to more great shows at The Core Theatre in 2022 and beyond.
