Mon 30 - Sat 4 Apr, The Core Theatre theatre & dance
Regrettably this event has been cancelled.
Phineus T Barnum is quite possibly the World’s Greatest Showman and Peterbrook Players’ 2020 production of this classic musical promises to be their most adventurous and spectacular to date.
Barnum is in the circus business despite his wife's wishes, working with talents such as the oldest woman alive, Joice Heth, the tiny Tom Thumb and the famous Swedish opera singer, Jenny Lind, with whom he almost falls in love. In the end, he returns to his wife and joins with another circus owner, James Anthony Bailey, to form the Barnum and Bailey circus.
Come one, come all … expect to be transformed, dazzled, amazed and stupefied!
You will not be disappointed, but don’t leave it too late, because this society that brought you Singin’ In The Rain (2017), Spamalot (2018) & Legally Blonde (2019) are sure to sell out … and “that ain’t no flim-flam”!
Tickets £20 (concession of £18 on Monday 30/3 only)
