Solihull Arts Complex

Vicky, a practicing local artist and art lecturer, is delighted to bring her first solo exhibition to The Courtyard Gallery at The Core, Solihull. Amongst other galleries her artwork has been shown at the Ikon Gallery (2021), and The Herbert Museum & Art Gallery, Coventry (2016, 2023). Her first solo exhibition is entitled Beautiful Open Spaces.

From a visit in the Summer of '23 to the Confetti Fields in Worcestershire has come a fabulous array of acrylic paintings! The vibrant colours and atmosphere of the fields are vividly portrayed in a range of paintings on a variety of canvas sizes. In an impressionist style, Vicky recreates the feeling of colours and escapism from the beautiful open spaces.
