Eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts is struggling to support his two children, Jeremy and Jemima, until they discover a battered old racing car in a junkyard. With a little ingenuity, Caractacus restores the car and, together with the delightful Truly Scrumptious, discovers that this is no ordinary motorcar - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang can fly!

But their magical adventures soon take them far from home and into the mysterious land of Vulgaria, ruled by the dastardly Baron and Baroness Bomburst. When Grandpa Potts is kidnapped, Caractacus, Truly and the children must use all their courage and imagination to rescue him.

With unforgettable songs, spectacular adventures, eccentric characters and a magical flying car, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is a joyous celebration of family, friendship and the power of imagination.
