Conversations with Books - A Dialogue Exhibition

Conversations with Books - A Dialogue Exhibition

The artists in this exhibition explore their own relationship with books, through thought-provoking work in a variety of media.

Dialogue is an Anglo/French, artist-led collective. The group has organised exhibitions and projects with artists in several countries including, France, Ireland and Germany.

Recently, Dialogue projects/exhibitions have taken place in Birmingham, Rugby, Bordeaux and Talence.

The Exhibition

Books are repositories of ideas, information, stories. Books enable discourse across time; Shakespeare/Ovid, Joyce/Homer.  And books inspire visual artists; Ophelia/Millais, Don Quixote/Picasso.  The artists in this exhibition, Conversations with Books, explore their own relationship with books through thought provoking work in a variety of media.
