Des Tong (Sad Café & Birmingham TV) and Bev Bevan (The Move, ELO, Black Sabbath & Quill) take you on a nostalgic trip around the Midland’s music scene.
Their show sees them recalling amazing stories, illustrated with vintage images and videos, in which they share their personal memories of the night clubs, pubs and places where we all used to go.
This is a show you won’t want to miss!
Some recent comments:
"Had such an enjoyable & informative evening at the ‘Birmingham’s Rock History’ talk, hosted by Des Tong of Sad Café with Bev Bevan, best known as drummer with ELO as well as Denny Laine and the Diplomats, The Move, Black Sabbath, ELO Part II and Quill. I’d wanted to see this talk for ages after catching their great documentary a few years ago, all about Brum’s rich music heritage. Give them a watch, they’re a must see for anyone into music."
"Superb evening very informative and a trip down memory lane for me.“
