Diwali Arts Day is back with Art at the Heart!
This Diwali, slow down and enjoy a moment of colour, rhythm, and creativity with the whole family. Together, we’ll create giant communal rangoli - vibrant floor art alive with patterns and symbols of good luck, happiness and prosperity - and giant community lanterns to enjoy Diwali together.
Meet the artists behind Diwali Arts Day, and enjoy live music led by musicians Gulfam Sabri and Pulkit from Sonia Sabri Company, alongside Solihull Music Service. Families can have a go at playing instruments and join in the gentle, mindful rhythms — creating a calm, uplifting atmosphere that flows with the artwork.
This special day is also about setting the tone for the year ahead: a chance to pause, connect, and celebrate creativity and wellbeing with family and friends.
The finished Rangoli will also feature in our annual Diwali exhibition at The Core, a joyful celebration of community. Don't miss the chance to be part of an exhibition!
Brought to you by Art at the Heart, supported by Sonia Sabri Company and Solihull Music Service.
