Fantastically Great Women Artists!

Fantastically Great Women Artists! with Kate Pankhurst

Join illustrator, author and suffragette descendant Kate Pankhurst as she tells the fascinating stories of some of history's most talented female artists.

Meet Frida Kahlo, who found the greatest muse for her art was in fact herself. Here's Laura Knight, the artist who ran away with the circus. And quilt-maker Faith Ringgold who stitched together untold stories… plus many, many more fantastically great and very creative women!

There will be drawing, there will be dressing up ... and most importantly, there will be lots of inspiration to change the world.  Bring a sketchbook and pen and get ready for fun.

Fun for all the family, ideal for children aged 6+

This event takes places as part of Solihull BookFest - a series of action packed fun events throughout the day at The Core, organised in partnership with Bournville and Sutton Coldfield BookFests.

Visit the Solihull Bookfest website.

The promoters of Solihull Bookfest have given us a small allocation of tickets, to assist in promoting the event. You can purchase tickets through us, or via Bookfest directly. Any unsold tickets will be available to purchase from Box Office on the day of the event.

There will be a bookswap, book shop, drop in sessons and free storytelling so Solihull BookFest is worth a drop in visit whether you have tickets or not.  Join the fun on Saturday 26th March at The Core (located in Theatre Square, Touchwood).
