IMPORTANT NOTICE:  We were informed today (Thurs 7) that due to Roy Forbes having Covid, the Martin Burch Band from the East Midlands will take his place.  The night will feature great performers, great music and will still be a great night out!

Join us for Henry's Blueshouse - a series of regular Blues music nights at The Core by Big Bear Music. Solihull Henry's Blueshouse nights take place in the relaxed atmosphere of our ground-floor Studio at The Core Theatre, with the occasional show in the main house. This time, we'll be joined by Roy Forbes' Texas Rumble. The show begins at 7.15pm with a Q&A followed by the band.

Roy Forbes, always a classy and swinging singer has long been established as the UKs finest Jazz Blues singer, much in the styles of Joe Williams or Charles Brown. Since Covid landed, Roy has rediscovered the roots of the music and taken a firm step back towards the Delta, delivering the blues of T-Bone Walker, Gatemouth Brown, Bobby Bland, Albert Collins and Freddy King. Roy has assembled an entirely new band of hot players for this new venture and is raring to go.
