Panographs - an exhibition of modern photography by Tony Warren
This retrospective exhibition of modern photography by Balsall Common based photographer and artist Tony Warren, showcases his work for the first time at The Courtyard Gallery.
After a long career in Art Education, Tony Warren retired and was able to pursue his lifelong interest in
photography. Due to illness, from 2017 onwards, Tony had to adapt his photography techniques to accommodate a change in his fine motor skills. Undeterred, he continued to create and edit his work until just a few weeks before he died in January 2018.
The abstract works on display, entitled “Street Run”, are strikingly unusual. Curated by his family, we are pleased to be able to exhibit them, alongside some of Tony’s traditional work, in this retrospective collection.
The proceeds of prints sold during this exhibition will be donated to Marie Curie Hospice Solihull.
