Priscilla Queen of the Desert

Priscilla Queen of the Desert

Presented by Solihull Theatre Company.

This show was cancelled due to Covid-19 regulations but we’re delighted to have rescheduled to this new date.  If you can attend that’s great simply write the new date on your tickets (same seats as previously) and write it in your diary!  If you bought online/phone and don’t have your tickets, they’re still with us and can be collected any time after we re-open including just prior to the (new) show.

If you can’t attend, you’re entitled to a refund.  All ticketholders will receive a letter from us, outlining refund options, so please wait for your letter as we have a lot of shows to refund.

Please bear with us at this difficult time and we look forward to welcoming you back to The Core Theatre next season.

A Solihull premiere by Solihull Theatre Company, as Priscilla Queen of the Desert hits The Core Theatre in May 2020.

Based on the 1994 popular cult film of the same name, Priscilla Queen of the Desert follows the journey of two drag queens, Tick and Adam, and a transgender woman, Bernadette, as they travel across Australia in their bus which they've named Priscilla.

Along the way, they learn to accept and support each other, whilst encountering a host of strange and colourful characters. Their journey eventually brings them to Alice Springs, having forged a bond that will last forever.

Packed with well-known pop anthems, including It’s Raining Men, What’s Love Got To Do With It and I Will Survive, Priscilla Queen of the Desert is a flamboyant, funny, disco-fuelled musical that will have you up on your feet and dancing all the way home!
