Say What?! is a fun, inclusive and creative ESL (English as a Second Language) youth theatre group for newly arrived young people aged 8-14 years to make friends, practise their English skills and learn more about the area they now live in.
Each session will include a variety of drama games, conversation and creative activities like art, puppetry or theatre. The activities will be designed to meet your interests.
When? 4:45pm – 6pm every Tuesday during term time
Where? The Studio at The Core Theatre
The group is facilitated by Soobie Whitfield who is a trained facilitator in community arts and an experienced Performing Arts and English teacher. She describes her facilitation style as inclusive, gently encouraging and collaborative.
