Two of Shakespeare's most famous stories are brought to life on stage with live painting and piano music, in this gorgeous introduction to the Bard.

Meet Titania, Queen of the Fairies - and the ridiculous Bottom, who has the head of a donkey - in A Midsummer's Night Dream.

See Romeo wooing Juliet on her moonlit balcony...and watch the lovers torn apart by their warring families.

Author-illustrator James Mayhew will conjure the scenes with his lightning-quick paintbrush as he tells the stories. And pianist Alex Kirk will accompany him on stage with music by Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn.

James' unique way of storytelling grabs the imagination and will have children spellbound.

This interesting event is part of Solihull BookFest and is aimed at children age 6-12 years.

This event takes places as part of Solihull BookFest - a series of action packed fun events throughout the day at The Core, organised in partnership with Bournville and Sutton Coldfield BookFests.
