Step into the nest and build your own baby hornbill using hooking, collage and textured materials in this new art workshop from Art at the Heart, aimed at ages 5-7.

Step into the nest and build your own baby hornbill using hooking, collage and textured materials. Children will learn how to layer feathers, explore pattern and shape, and bring their bird to life with colourful, stitched and sculpted details. 

For the day, they become sculptors, character designers and textile artists, creating baby birds full of texture and personality.

Tactile, imaginative and confidence building, each child takes home their own handmade hornbill chick to care for and keep.
