Enya Martin – Acting the Divil
Acting the Divil explores the funny side of modern fitness culture and the quiet truth of a long-term, childless relationship.
Enya Martin reflects on growing up in the 90s on a council estate, to eventually flying first class to Australia. She explores the many hurdles she’s come up against in life that has shaped her into the comedian she is today, and her mother is still the punch line to most of her jokes!
A funny, heartfelt hour about chasing success while staying true to the people who shaped you.
Enya Martin is a stand up comedian, actress and radio presenter. Born and bred in a council estate in Dublin, Ireland she was named after the singer Enya - she is grateful that her parents didn't name her after their other favourite singer Meatloaf!
Enya's stand up show is fast paced, hilarious and full of many stories of the wildness of growing up in working class Dublin. Enya was in the hit Netflix comedy movie "Deadly Cuts" (2021).
She is a radio presenter on Dublin's FM104.
Last year she sold out her 2 shows in the international Sydney Comedy festival.
