Funny to The Core is a monthly comedy club at The Core, bringing the best and funniest UK comedy talent to Solihull.

Headlining the show is Andy Parsons! Best know for his role on Mock the Week, Andy started his career writing for Weekending, and went on to become one of the main writers on Spitting Image. Andy has performed on radio and tv shows including Live at the Apollo, QI and They Think It’s All Over, and has a highly acclaimed political podcast, Slacktivist Action Group.

His 2026 UK Tour is called Please #@!$ Off To Mars.

Opening the show is Peter Brush! A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.

With Birmingham’s own Alex Egan! A compelling storyteller, who captivates audiences with light-hearted insights on boxing, relationships and life. Alex has provided tour support for Richard Blackwood and Sukh Ojla.

Hosted by the brilliant Adam Coumas! Adam hosted the prestigious AAA Stand Up show at the Underbelly during the Edinburgh Fringe 2019 and came Runner Up in the NATYs Award 2020. Adam currently creates sketches on his Instagram.
