Funny to The Core is a monthly comedy club at The Core, bringing the best and funniest UK comedy talent to Solihull.

Headlined by the brilliant Sara Pascoe! Mock The Week star Sara is an award-winning comedian and actress who started stand up in 2007 and was a finalist in the Funny Women and So You Think You’re Funny? competitions. She has worked as a comedy actor, sketch performer, improviser and writer since 2006, when she joined the NewsRevue topical sketch show.  

She was nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2014 and won the Chortle Breakthrough Award the same year. 

Sara has hosted The Great British Sewing Bee, and has numerous other TV appearances which include Would I Lie To You, Taskmaster, Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Last One Laughing, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, QI, Have I Got News for You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Thick of It and Twenty Twelve.
