Funny to The Core is a monthly comedy club at The Core, bringing the best and funniest UK comedy talent to Solihull.

Headlining the show is Milton Jones who can be seen regularly on Mock the Week and stars in the other big television shows such as Live at the Apollo, Dave’s One Night Stand and Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled. He co-wrote and starred in his sitcom pilot House of Rooms for Channel 4.

Milton’s live shows are a mainstay of UK live comedy with his tours Lion Whisperer, On the Road, Temple of Daft, Milton Jones is Out There and Milton Impossible all playing to well over 100,000 people. His current tour Ha!Milton Jones will again smash this figure.

Opening the show is Chris Brooker! Step into a room with Chris, and you’ll be swept away by an irresistible force of infectious energy and enthusiasm. This comedy heavyweight leaves no audience untouched, effortlessly combining hilarious, original material with inspired improvisation that ensures no two shows are ever the same. With an immensely likeable persona, there’s no doubt about his ability to win over any crowd and take them along for an unforgettable comedic ride.

With the brilliant Elaine Fellows! Elaine is one of the brightest new comics on the circuit. Originally from Southport, Elaine’s life is held together by two things: sugar and lies. Neither of which is good for you. Elaine has recently been tour support for Colin Hoult’s Death of Anna Mann Tour. She was the runner-up in Hastings Newcomer of the Year 2022 and a finalist in Brighton New Comedian of the Year 2021.

Hosted by the brilliant Harry Jenkins! A born and bred Brummie, Harry is a talented rising star of the UK comedy circuit. Known for his dry, irreverent, deadpan take on everyday life, in just two years since his first gig, Harry has quickly moved through the ranks and has been earmarked as one to watch on the circuit.
