
Solihull Symphony Orchestra are joined by Hungarian violinist Boglárka György on the evening of Saturday 8 July 2023 for Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Violin Concerto. The orchestra will also be playing Mendelssohn’s ever popular Hebrides Overture and the Symphonie Fantastique by Berlioz.
Originally from Hungary, Boglárka György is a graduate of the Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest. Music making has subsequently taken her to many countries and she is currently based in Birmingham, England.
Boglárka has a particular passion for contemporary music and often plays with the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group. She is in demand both as a soloist and orchestral musician throughout Europe and Asia with orchestras such as the Philharmonia, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and the Manchester Camerata. She led the Solihull Symphony Orchestra in 2019 and has also given recitals at St Alphege Church in Solihull.
